Why are there Men in Black after me ? ! ?

I went to seek the wisdom of my "father" Ralph.

He is the reason I exist. He choose ME after much time, and sampling of other Bells. Orginally I am a Ships Bell - which is why I ring so loud and clear! Then Ralph built my stand with his own hands. I am very loved and cherished.

So . . . some of my fellow Rotarians have expressed concerns about my well being. The doc sent me for a full round of x-rays and tests (glad that there was not a Colonoscopy, even though I hear Rich & Andy make them less painful). Rest assured I am doing well.

The CHP heard a rumor from the Sheriff’s department and they tracked me down because they wanted to make sure that I was ok. The breathalyzer detected large amounts of caffeine.

The Sheriff let me go when he realized that I was innocent. I felt like I needed a little pick-me-up so I went to Starbucks. I heard it is the favorite coffee shop of many of my Rotarians, so I decided to grab a cup o’ joe. Nice people there!

Dear Rotarians,

I'm just dropping you a quick note to let you know that I'm tired of being used and abused. I have a headache and I am feeling unappreciated.

Therefore, I am taking a hiatus from my duties.

In my absence, I'm asking for a temporary replacement. Will you please bring a bell or an attention-getting device on Thursday morning for our beloved President to use?
